Kratos Searches

Kratos walked into the computer mainframe area. He had a question to ask about a specific fighter, the redhead he had seen in the bar. He had a feeling that there was something lurking just beneath the boy's skin.
The computer addressed Kratos, "Good evening, Kratos. What information is it that you seek?"
Kratos replied, "I wish to know more about one of the fighters. I saw him in the bar....I don't know his name, but I can give you a good description."
The computer replied, "Very well then, proceed."
Kratos nodded his head, "He has long scarlet red hair, emerald green eyes, and stands at 5'11". Who or what is this person?"
The computer answered, "That is the human form of the fox demon, Kurama. He is over 1000 years old and is a very strong competitor. He uses plants as weapons, and is a brilliant strategist. Do you wish to know more?"
Kratos thought a moment before answering. (Sheena's cue...XD)

Sheena blinked. "A demon? but aren't those really bad? we're talking about creatures normally ascostiated with hell, right?"

The computer answered her questions, "Normally, yes...but turning human has changed him."
Kratos glared, "How so? Once a demon, always a demon."
The computer replied, "It has softened his heart, seeing the love of a mother for her child."
Kratos sighed, "...The love of a mother..." He turned away, brief flashes of memories from long ago appearing fresh in his mind.
The computer remained quiet as he became wrapped up, allowing him a moment of peace.

Sheena timidly patted kratos on the back.
"You know, its not your fault. I know I don't know much... but I'm sure you didn't do it on purpose." She said reassuringly. "I mean, Lloyd turned out fine, right? well, for the most part anyway." She sighed. her mind drifting back to Kurama. If he was human, then why had he come to this fight? surely he wouldn't come if he knew that his power was more limited. Some of his demon self must exist inside of him... somewhere. She thought.

Kratos turned to look at her again, "....He only turned out that way because he was raised by a very honorable person. His life was wrecked by the Desians...I should've looked for him, made absolutely certain that he was dead rather than just assuming. I know that at the time, I was in trouble with Cruxis....but that shouldn't matter. The duty of a father is to protect his child at all costs, and not to abandon him or betray him or cause him harm as I have done." It sounded as if Kratos was having regrets for not having been there to raise Lloyd. He wasn't wallowing in self-pity, he was just stating facts. ((Sheena should say something about Yggdrassil forcing him to...just to keep him from sinking into a full depression. Well, just a suggestion anyway.))

Kratos gave a bit of a nod, "You raise a good point, Sheena." He sighed and turned to face her, "Well, I got the information I was looking for. I'm going to my room. I will see you later." He started to walk out.
The computer spoke again, "There is something else that you wish to ask me?"
Kratos glared over his shoulder, "No, there is not. As I said, I have all the information I need. Thank you, computer." He walked out, heading for his room.

Sheena looked after Kratos, sighing. "I'll never understand that guy," she muttered, walking out alone to find a diffrent source of entertainment.
