Many Needing Healed

At the end of the fight, Kurama, Edward, and Kratos were all teleported to the medical wing.
Kurama had ice packs put on his upper arms, chest, and back, and then the burns were treated with ointment and bandaged up to prevent infection. He slowly sat up in the bed and looked towards Kratos.
Kratos's right arm was now heavily bandaged, his throat was also wrapped in gauze, as it had been treated with a resin to help his bruises heal faster and he was resting comfortably.
Ed was still unconscious, probably in the worst condition out of the three fighters because of Sheena's last attack. He had ice packs nearly covering his body and was hooked up to a respirator, to make breathing easier while the burns on his chest healed.

Sheena walked into the room, looking around for Kratos. Her injuries had been minor, and though she had blacked out, she had come to almost immediatly after being teleported here. Her stomach churned with discomfort and fatigue, but she needed to know if he was alright or not. "You think you'll live?" Sheena asked Kratos casually when she spotted him.

Kratos nodded his head, "Yes, Sheena, I'll live." He sat up, wincing and holding his bandaged and injured arm. He also had a migraine still from overusing his mana, "The medics said I'll be painfully weak for a few days though..." He looked at Kurama, "How are you feeling?"
Kurama sighed, "All right...very sore and tired, but that's to be expected." He glanced at the ceiling, a million different thoughts flooding through his mind at once. Should I remain Edward's teammate after everything he did in the fight? Would I still be able to be friends with those two?

While Edward was still unconscious, Alphonse came running into the room. He was a bit pale, and it was obvious he had been crying. He had seen everything that happened and was overly worried about his older brother. He turned to Sheena and told her, "I'm...sorry for all the tricks my brother pulled on you in your fight. He doesn't usually get like that..." He sat down next to the bed, placing his hand lightly over his brother's.
Kratos nodded, "That's what I thought. I could tell he was holding something back about halfway through the fight. Do you know if something is wrong with him?"
Al replied, "...He's probably just a little homesick. That, and he's probably lonely too."
Kurama sighed and said, snapping at Alphonse unintenionally, "Pulling moves like that certainly won't earn him any friends!" He crossed his arms and turned away from everyone, to hide his confused feelings.
Kratos was shocked into silence at Kurama's outburst. He looked to Alphonse, then Sheena.

Sheena sighed heavily. What a day... She thought tiredly. "I'll only forgive the person who is responsible. Being homesick and lonely isn't any excuse to treat a girl like that," She said, as kindly as she could. "But I'm willing to put it all behind me, if he says he's sorry, and I hope you two are as well," She said to Kurama and Kratos. "The battlefield is no place to make friends, especially when you're on opposite sides," Like I'm one to be talking, She thought, glancing at Kratos.

Kratos sighed and nodded his head, "...You're right, I'm sorry, Sheena." It was a rare thing for Kratos to apologize to anyone...he must be really feeling the separation from Lloyd. He didn't say it out loud though and glanced up at the ceiling, not sure of what else to say other than that.
Kurama replied, "You raise a good point...I apologize. The battlefield is not the best place to make friends. I just...I guess I was just taking my anger out on Ed by trying to side with you two...I'm sorry I used you."
Al glared at him, "Just because you're mad at my brother doesn't mean you have to side with his opponents! You were supposed to be helping him!" Not saying another word, he went to sit down next to Ed, who was beginning to stir.

"I see that the Honour of the warrior runs in the family," Sheena wispered driely. It was obvious the kid idolized his brother, and was ignoring his behavior on the battlefield. She saw the kids point... and maybe after involving Kratos in the fight meant only for Eddward and Sheena, Kurama should have stepped in. In anycase, she hadn't had the right to tell Kurama to take Kratos to safety. Nor should she have warned him for that matter. "Listen-- Alphonse, isn't it? I'm sorry I did that to your brother," She apoligized. Not like he hadn't been asking for it... She thought. Sighing, she resolved to stop thinking like that. "I... need to cool down a little bit. I guess I get worked up to easily." She unclipped a small vial from her waistband, and handed it to Al. "Whatever the doctors give him, it won't be as good as this. It's a secret recipe, found only in my village, Mizuho. Mizuho potion will help heal wounds and stop pain... I'm sorry I can't do more."

Al took the vial and nodded, "It's okay...I'm sure my brother will come out of this alive." He sighed and added, "In fact, if I know my brother like I think I do...he'll apologize for his crude behavior on the battlefield. He's not that bad a person when it comes right down to it. You just happened to catch him on a bad day." He looked at Kurama, "Please...don't stay mad at my brother. If you all want me to, I'll give him a good talking to when he gets up. Now that I really think about it, he had no right to treat you like he did, Sheena. And I'm sorry too."
Kurama sighed, "...Alphonse, having a bad day is no excuse for the way he acted. I'll forgive him when I'm ready and you can't force me to."
Kratos still lay in the bed, looking up at the ceiling. He told Al, "...Your brother is a good fighter, don't get me wrong, but he lacks finesse in the way he fights. He seems to rely more on instinct than on the vast amount of knowledge he seems to have. Why is that?" ...It was rather cold and harsh of him to say that, but he wanted to keep his distance from the two brothers. Ed moreso than Al though because of his reliance on instinct. He found himself comparing Ed to Lloyd before his strength had been honed.
Al sighed, "...That's none of your business, Kratos." He didn't trust Kratos one bit and Kurama...well, he didn't know what to think of him at the moment, "He has his reasons for fighting the way he does, let's just leave it at that."

Sheena layed a hand across Edward's forehead to check his tempeture. "He really isn't doing too good, is he?" She commented. "Maybe I shouldn't have resorted to summoning a god on a normal human... If you can call Edward normal." She shifted uneasily. They both probably hate me... She said, thinking of how Ed would feel after waking up fom this. She glanced over to Kratos and Kurama. She felt the intensity between the three, it was as if electricity was snapping through the air. "How long do you think he'll be out like this?" She asked with concern.

Al replied, "...It's hard to say, but with how fast my brother usually recovers and how stubborn he can be, it'll probably only be a few days before he's back on his feet. Or rather, thinks he's well enough to be up and about." He then sighed and shook his head, "Sometimes I think he pushes himself too hard."
Kurama glanced at Kratos, smirking to diffuse the tense situation. He then shifted his emerald gaze to Sheena, "Remind you of anyone?"
Kratos rolled his eyes, slightly miffed at being compared to the short blonde, "Hmph. I'm nothing like him. For starters, I have much more experience at fighting than he does. I am also much older, wiser, and have more patience."
Kurama nodded, "True, but thousands of years of life will do that to you. I should know."

Sheena rolled her eyes. "Don't forget modest. Your extremly humble too," She said sarcastically. "Anyway, as concerned as I am, I'm not about to sit around and wait for EdWARD to wake up to apoligize to me..." She glanced at Kratos and Kurama. "You'll be okay, right?" she asked them.

Kratos nodded, "Yes, I'll be fine. Thank you, Sheena." He sighed and glanced up at the ceiling again.
Kurama replied, "You say you're fine...but anyone can see that something is bothering you." He glanced at Sheena, if only for a moment, and told her, "Yes, I'll be all right. Thanks."
Kratos looked at him directly, glaring intensely into his emerald eyes, "Perhaps something is...but it's not your concern." He said nothing else now and continued looking at the ceiling.
Al didn't ask any questions. He didn't really care all that much about Kratos, nor did he really like him. He sighed and continued to watch Ed, worried.

Sheena tapped her toes on the floor. I'm fine. really," She said slowly. It made her uncomfortable when someone was concerned about her. But Edward had, in the most distant way possible, reminded her of an old, long gone friend. The fight she had participated in would have been right up his alley. She crossed her arms, and turned away from the others, rubbing her shoulders that suddenly felt like goose flesh.

Kratos slowly rose to his feet, ignoring the stinging pain in his injuries. He walked slowly over to Sheena and asked, "Are you sure about that?" He was probably only speaking to her because hers was the only familiar face, and because he was fairly certain that Lloyd would've wanted him to watch out for Sheena if he were here, "You don't seem fine." He couldn't help but flinch slightly as more pain shot up his arm.
Kurama fell silent again and sighed, sitting up slightly with his weight resting on his elbows, "You should rest, Kratos. You won't heal up properly if you don't."
Ed coughed and finally began to stir, "He's right...ya know. Owww...damn, that hurts." He glanced timidly at Sheena and told her in a shaky voice, "....I'm sorry for the trouble I gave you. It's just...you remind me so much of someone at home that's all...and I was afraid to get emotionally close to you. Her name's Winry, and she's the one who made me these Automail limbs. Like you, she's a really strong person." He coughed some more.
Al gently rubbed Ed's back, trying to ease up his coughing, "Shh, take it easy, big brother. Get some rest. You've been through a lot."

She held Edward in her gaze. You remind me alot of a friend I had too, Edward. But the diffrence between me and her and the diffrence between you and him is far greater... The diffrence between life and death. She laughed coldly at her morbid joke, ignoring any confused looks the others might have gave her. "Well Edward... it seems meeting people that remind us of those we are close to is an unavoidible fact of life," She said as her strange laughter subsided. "whether we welcome it with open arms, or shun it cruely is the only thing we have control over."
